Description

I didn't learn anything new, I just discovered a new brush set, figured out how to apply what I already knew on another level, and went back to ancient method I used in Photoshop on fur and hair (which I realized I had abandoned with my time cartooning Manga Studio).

I like the tonal rendering to suggest form, although in comparison the facial structure is remarkably flat. Especially the eyes seem to be painted on a flat plane, as opposed to being eyeballs inside a socket.

I do like the varying application of mark making to describe texture, in addition to the inclusion of highlights on the mane and tail indicating a smooth surface. Nice work.
